Ratings Breakdown:
ABC’s “Bachelor in Paradise” topped this first Monday in September, with a 3.2 rating/6 share in households from 8-10 p.m. Comparably, that was slightly above the 3.0/ 5 for competing “American Ninja Warrior” on NBC. “Bachelor in Paradise” was already renewed for next summer, while “American Ninja Warrior” is certain to also return.

Elsewhere, there was nothing new to report. A two-hour edition of Fox’s tired “So You Think You Can Dance” could not compete at a 1.6/ 3 in households from 8-10 p.m. Maybe it is time to give the dance competition a rest. NBC’s “Dateline” (2.4/4 at 10 p.m.) tied an encore telecast of CBS drama “Bull” and it bested ABC’s failing “Grand Hotel” (#3: 1.9/ 4) by 26 percent. CBS and The CW were both in repeats as follows:
