Although their fast affiliate figures were not yet available at post time, ESPN is the likely top network overall on this prime time with Georgia Bulldogs’ thrilling 42-41 victory over the Ohio State Buckeyes in College Football Playoff’s Peach Bowl.

It is also projected that CNN (with New Year’s Eve coverage) to at least be in the competitive mix and among the leading networks in prime time.
