Ratings Breakdown:
ABC’s “Bachelor in Paradise” topped the night with a 3.3 rating/6 share in the household overnights from 8-10 p.m. ET. Comparably, that bested “American Ninja Warrior” on NBC (3.2/ 6) by one-tenth of a rating point.

In the specials department was “Lip Sync to the Rescue” on CBS at a third-place 2.5/ 4 in the 8 p.m. hour. Viewers voted for their favorite video of performances featuring first responders channeling their inner pop stars and lip-syncing to hit music. And that led into a 2.3/ 4 (#3) for the CBS Fall Preview in the 9 p.m. half-hour.
